No one will ever be able to take away the shear joy experienced by Saints fans in the 2009 Super Bowl! My hope is that each time this piece is viewed the memory of that fantastic season inspires a smile and restores the belief that anything is possible: dreams can come true...and yes...even pigs can fly. I paint in an impasto style using oil paint with palette/painting knives. Painting with palette knives allow a freedom I never enjoyed with brushes. I'm drawn to New Orleans cityscapes and Louisiana landscapes. I'm inspired by the vibrant vivid colors and heavy textures achieved with this three dimensional painting style. I enjoy capturing a view that I would enjoy spending a couple of hours in front of, taking in all the flavor of my surrounding.
