South Louisiana is breathtaking and we are all so blessed to live surrounded by it's beauty. This painting was inspired by my love for all that surrounds me in Houma, Louisiana. I wanted to draw you into this piece as if nature is personally call you in with an inescapable force. Pullin you further and further in, until you are transported into it's embrace.

ABOUT the FINE ART GICLEE: Produced from my original artwork and are printed on high-quality archival canvas using archival inks, stretched over a .75” or 1.5” wood frame with the print image wrapping around edge of canvas and are ready to hang using the mounted picture wire. (The 1.5” depth canvas works best for hanging without framing.) The giclee is signed on the front in silver, titled/labeled/signed on the back and comes with a signed letter of authenticity should it ever need appraisal.
CUSTOM FRAMING: Handmade floating frames created using reclaimed wood. Frames add an additional 3 inches to the overall width and height of giclee. (Floating frame for 1.5” gallery wrap giclee available upon request.)

I paint in an impasto style using oil paint with palette/painting knives. Painting with palette knives allow a freedom I never enjoyed with brushes. I'm drawn to New Orleans cityscapes and Louisiana landscapes. I'm inspired by the vibrant vivid colors and heavy textures achieved with this three dimensional painting style. I enjoy capturing a view that I would enjoy spending a couple of hours in front of, taking in all the flavor of my surrounding.
