Here Comes The Sun

HOPE! We all go through difficult and stressful times in our lives. Sometimes these moments feel like they’ll never pass, similar to a long, cold winter. But eventually it does pass, winter ends and the sun shines again. Remember that the Sun Will Rise Again.

The sun rises over Lake Martin, a wildlife preserve & swampland located in St. Martin Parish, near the cajun city of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. The preserve includes 9,500 acres of majestic towering cypress & tupelo trees which make up the swampland around the 200 acre lake of Lake Martin. The lake is well-known for its nesting wading birds, including egrets, roseate spoonbills & great herons which all congregate in the trees near the shoreline. The water where the trees call home aren’t short on magic either. Seasonally the lake fills with water lilies dotting the surface in ever blooming waves of color, creating the most spectacular, picture perfect, sunrises & sunsets that your eyes ever did see.
